Homo progenus

The ohdowa is a man-sized, reptilian humanoid. Ohdowas are possessed of huge eyes and ears, and have vestigial tails. Hopi Indians believe ohdowa are the prototypes of humanity, discarded by the Creator long ago. Their extreme ugliness led the ohdowa to seek refuge underground. Others believe ohdowa are refugees from the lost continent of Lemuria. It is most likely, though, that the ohdowa are simply Awakened forms of human. Large colonies of ohdowa are believed to be maintained underneath Los Angeles and Mount Shasta.
