Physical Description

Homo Sapiens Sapiens; baseline Human. Caucasian. 208 cm in height; 157 kg in mass. Brown hair, worn long, thinning on top and up front. Mustache. Blue eyes. Build is massive; Mr. Skaar is often mistaken for Robustus; occasionally even for Ingentis. Skaar has numerous body and facial scars, including a particularly nasty one from forehead to chin, through the eye socket, on the right side of his face. Combined with toothbud implants grown from Doberman DNA, his appearance is intimidating, as is his tendency to vocalize thick and unintelligible growls when agitated. Due to a badly healed break in the recent past, Skaar favors his left leg, and walks with a pronounced limp.

Psychological Profile

Mr. Skaar is as straightforward as his appearance would indicate: if a situation can’t be resolved with fists, cudgel or handgun, it is likely beyond his control. He is gruff, unfriendly, and holds no loyalty toward any person save himself. In short, he is the archetypical Auburn resident. He can be intimidated into submission, as he has a well-developed sense of survival, but he will not fold easily. He is not a coward. The best method of achieving cooperation with this individual lies in blackmail (see attached file “SK143Z”), mutual interest, or outright bribery.

Business Activities

Proprietor and bartender at “The Aurora,” a shabby bar in Auburn catering to those individuals on a slow but steady slide into obscurity or worse. It is a favored haunt of shadowrunners who have grown too old for the game. Information brokering is almost certainly an occupation, also.

Don’t underestimate the value of the information available from “shadowrunners who have grown too old for the game.” These guys have forgotten more about working the streets than most of the punks today will ever know. The trick, of course, is getting out of the Aurora with your credstick and life intact.

Business Methods

The Aurora is popular among the criminal element of Seattle, as Skaar accepts scrip. These transactions, of course, are largely untraceable. His other customers, those seeking information, usually pay with services, either immediate or future. Such terms are arranged only face to face, as The Aurora has no telecom. (There are telecom lines, however; both for the occasional credstick transaction, and dedicated to a PANICBUTTONTM. The latter is usually non-operational.)
