Corpsula Fibres
by Zombie Boy (mcgi6jf3@stud.umist.ac.uk)
Developed by Renraku and named after the inventor, corpsula is a specially treated type of alloy which contracts when a currant is passed through it whilst maintaining its massive strength.
Utilised in fibre form in elastic fabric strips it forms a skin-tight “stretch suit”. When anchored at strategic body locations (i.e. wrists, ankles elbows etc.) by special bracelets which grasp the body firmly the suit forms an exterior muscle system. Sensors within the fabric detect the muscle movement and trigger appropriate strips to amplify this muscle movement which greatly increases the wearers strength.
The system requires a 1kg battery pack which lasts about 1 hour. The metallic nature of the suit also acts as armour.
The stretch suit can now be attached directly to the brain to allow faster triggering of the fabric.
