Savage arms (renowned for sporting rifles) has for the first time since W.W.II built a military grade weapon. Designed as a heavy assault weapon, the 300 Mag is the choice. A new heavy-duty composite frame increases concealability while incorporating a sliding stock as standard. It integrates Gas Vent 4 and shockpads to reduce the heavy kick. Add built in smartlink II, mini gyro and you have a powerful accurate assault rifle that can pull down the biggest of targets. If needed it can even double as a light sniper!

The weapon offers the equivalent of 6 points of Recoil Reduction, integral flash suppresser and sliding stock with shock pads standard. Advanced features include a autostabilization stock (which compensates for 2 points of movement, no recoil benefit) plus a reactive trigger / speed loader which fires a four round bursts per simple action (damage - 16D).

Apply a +2 modifier for any uncompensation recoil. It will only accept bottom mounted accessories like the optional bipod, (conceal -2). This weapon uses sport rifle ranges instead of assault.

* Decrease concealability to zero when the stock is extended.

** Breaks down for high concealability requires four complex actions to reassemble when close at hand (you need to get it out of your pack or case first chummers).

Another semi auto sniper rifle? The ammo’s not big enough and I doubt it has any kind of accuracy. And why use this as a sniper rifle its not even silenced?

When you consider that you can slip it under a long coat just as easy as a shotgun, it’s all worth it.

Oh great another high brow sniper. This is a combat weapon, for use on a battlefield. Great as a supporting heavy weapon for small unit activity. It has it all, heavy fire power, Smart Link II, movement Gyro, and gas vent IV, all of the cool tricks. I added a bipod and modified the sliding stock to absorb extra recoil.

Teach you to use cheap ammo, works fine in mine no problems at all. Even with Black Rhino APDS splatt kill dead.
