Closest Archetype: Matrix smuggler

The Skinny: Digit does not define himself as a hacker. The round man deplores the idea of it. Digit is a smuggler. He smuggles data into places and he smuggles data out.

Digit was born from the romantic notions of pirates and pony expressmen. He believes that everyone is entitled entry to every place on (and above) earth. The fee for such an entry is negotiable.

While he can be called upon to do any job that relates to implanting or swapping information, he will not make himself available for assignments concerning matrix overwatch or matrix assassination.

Though born in Spain, Digit was raised in southern Amazonia. He remains there today. Because of his rural location most of Digit’s business interactions occur online. All credit transfers are done via net. In regards to credit transfer, the only form of payment that Digit is willing to accept is Corp Stock. Even then he will not accept Stock from any of the Fuchi subsets. He necessitates payment from company stock of his own choosing.

Digit doesn’t trust credsticks. As a matrix smuggler, he is aware of the manipulations that do happen with credsticks. He’s paranoid of it. He is paranoid of several things in fact: dogs, cats, and most of all, women. He does not deal with female runners. They intimidate him.

Desc: Digit is a pale skinned Spaniard standing nearly six feet in height and weighing upwards of 260 lbs. He has a dull red goatee and always wears a skull cap which reads “Techniks”. In the Matrix his persona is identical to his actual appearance. There is however one exception: in the matrix, Digit walks with a limp.
